The COVID-19 pandemic has forced businesses to make changes to their operations. In Windham, New York, Windham Mountain has made changes to its operations to keep its customers and employees safe while enjoying the Great Northern Catskill Mountains. Windham Mountain is a ski resort located in the town of Windham, New York, in the northern section of the Catskill Mountains, approximately 2.5 hours north of New York City. It has 54 trails and 12 lifts, including three high-speed detachable lifts. The highest peak is situated at 3,100 feet with a vertical rise of 1,600 feet from the base. Snowmaking covers 98% of the trail area of 265 acres.
During this time, Windham Mountain has added a “Red Day” and “Green Day” ticket system to its weekend/holiday and mid-week ticket system. You can find a calendar of these days on this page. Many popular days are already sold out for the season. Red Days that are still available are going in excess of $130 each.
